Rule 44 Cases pertaining to the operation of the Vessel

The Association shall cover legal and other costs necessarily incurred in establishing or resisting claims concerning the following; a charterparties and other contracts of employment; b loss of or damage to the Vessel or general average; c delay of the Vessel; d property damage, personal injury or loss of life; e repairs or deliveries to the Vessel; f salvage or towage; g agents or brokers; h insurance contracts pertaining to the Vessel; i customs, harbour or other public or quasi-public authorities, but not taxes and/or tariffs.
