Based at Gard UK, Mark Russell will leave his current post of Vice President, Head of Cargo Claims, which he has held since 2010, and in which he had overall responsibility for P&I Cargo Claims (dry and liquid) across all Gard offices.

With nearly 30 years in shipping, Mark began his career as a merchant navy deck officer in 1989. He went on to obtain a first class honours degree in Maritime Studies from Solent University before joining Gard in August 1996.
